Is it this round in reality or is that an effect of the panorama?

Yes, it's real. Aeons ago the sea hollowed out a cave. Eventually the roof collapsed, leaving what you see, It's a famous beauty spot, but the land is privately owned and the car park is an absolute rip-off, so we don't go there any more.
