Still, it definitely had its uses and when you could get it to focus properly and perform the results were great.

I had one with a terrible AF. I had to take a shot three times to get one in focus, if at all. I thought all nifty's were like that. But then I started participating in the Where's Nifty thread on POTN and I received a nifty to shoot with and the AF was spot on each time. It was great. That really surprised me. So I guess it very much depended on the copy you had.Nice one. The nifty-fifty had great glass. Shame about the rest of it.
I was thinking that I'd never seen such a radiant red flower and then realised you used a filter. Some painterly effect? Looks pretty good. And well done too as it's not immediately obvious. At least not to me.
