LOL They look it. But they're very pretty.
They are at Dumfries House, part of The King's Foundation! So, a royal bun has probably sat on one of these seats! This is Dumfries House where the King may be entertaining Donald Trump when h has his state visit. It is also reported that Balmoral Castle as an alternative. My guess is that Trump would prefer a castle rather than just a house!

Nice house and well photographed, Martin. That fountain is nice too by the way.

As for a castle vs a house, can't brag about a mere house now can you?

Some of the hills guarding the entrance to St. John's harbour. Lots of old fortification remains, some from the 1600s for English-French wars; some from WW2.

Tech note: As you can see in the EXIF info below, this was taken with an EF-S lens on a full-frame camera, just for fun. With this particular lens you can easily pop out the centre of the mount and it'll attach. Just crop out the vignette in post. :)

Great shot, Rob. Interesting how you fitted the lens onto the camera. I guess it now doesn’t fit on a crop camera anymore?

No - it still fits and works just fine on a crop. The "adaptation" simply removes the bit that protrudes too far for the 5D mirror. This lens is easy because you can pop out the bit. Others have to be cut away to fit (not for me!).
I wonder if EF-S lenses would work with an EF - RF adapter on a mirrorless, without modification?
