Cardinals - Post Yours!

I'd actually forgotten about this until I saw this thread, but I was able to find this in my phone's camera roll. I took this photo almost five years ago. This is right next to our front door at work. This bird actually flew right into the front door. When I went to see what that loud bang was, this little guy/gal was sitting there. I thought it was going to sucumb to injury, but it did eventually fly away on its own. Luckily it was dazed enough that I was able to get up close to it for these photos. Please excuse the "droppings", but the poor thing had to be terrified!

Sweet pics, Mike. Glass windows/doors, lots of birds die flying into it. I'm glad this one recovered.

This is one bird I wish we had here. They're so beautiful, especially the females.

I am very lucky we have cardinals every day 2 to 3 pairs once in a while more! Of course it costs a ton to keep them fed with black oil sunflower seeds we also have a heated bird bath/water for them all the time
