Glad you saw my house, it is subtle. I have all my feeders right outside my den window so I can do lots of shooting year round especially in the winter

The eye is very clear. Nice to have a comfortable spot like that to shoot from.

We still have snow and ICE. I haven't been able to go out in the yard for almost 3 weeks now due to the ice. I am throwing bird seed out the window and doing all my shooting from inside my den through the window. Can't get to the ponds either due to the ice, but can drive on the road and go to the stores it is just the yards etc that are covered

Ice is bad. Very treacherous stuff. And at least you get to still shoot birds from inside your den.

Yup at my age I don't need a broken hip or something. Shooting through the closed window works wish I could clean the outside a bit but can't get out there. Almost all the bird and Cardinal pictures I post were taken through the window glass

That's like a vicious circle isn't it. You take shots through your window because of the ice. You need a clean window for that but you can't go out to clean it on the outside because of the ice. Your shots looks good to me though. I can't tell they were taken through a window.

It is actually fairly clean you can only see the dust marks on it when the sun shines on it a certain way, also like a chain link fence if you shoot close enough to it, it disappears
