This was my dad's family's church and I painted the picture as a Christmas present. My mom took it and hid it away to be wrapped for Christmas but we couldn't find it. I had to paint a second one to give him. We didn't find the original one I painted until 2007 after both my parents were dead when we cleaned out their house to sell. She had put the painting in a drawer and it slipped over the back of thejdrawer and down into the back of the chest.

That's quite the story. A nice example of how sometimes things just seem to disappear only to be found many years later.
