Most of our oldest cathedrals are very impressive. This was formerly a Benedictine monastery - until Hanry VIII decided that monasteries were pointless and their money could be better used financing his war with France.
The Cardboard Cathedral, Christchurch, NZ. The Anglican cathedral in Christchurch was very seriously damaged by earthquakes in 2010 and 2011, so much so that it was originally proposed to demolish it, although this decision was later overturned by public opinion and I believe that it is being rebuilt. The 'Cardboard Cathedral' was built as a temporary replacement. It really is built out of cardboard and shipping containers. It's quite pleasant inside.

its along the Alaska-Canadian highway from Dawson Creek British Columbia to Fairbanks Alaska
it was closed when we went through Beaver Creek. its the last stop before the Canada-US border crossing about 20 miles to the north, and then its another 300 miles to the end, in Fairbanks Alaska
theres a small housing area adjacent to the border crossing where the agents live. there are no services there though.
