Nice colours, but did you do a sky replacement? There's a horizontal line across the pic near the top of the tower.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll sortx it. It's easy to get vibrant colours in Tuscany on a sunny day. But the barren blue sky needed to be fixed.

Hope Lutheran Church in Westcliffe CO. Top photo my picture in 1964. Bottom photo my painting in 1967

This was my dad's family's church and I painted the picture as a Christmas present. My mom took it and hid it away to be wrapped for Christmas but we couldn't find it. I had to paint a second one to give him. We didn't find the original one I painted until 2007 after both my parents were dead when we cleaned out their house to sell. She had put the painting in a drawer and it slipped over the back of the drawer and down into the back of the chest.

By the way, is "quire" an alternative, maybe old spelling of "choir"?
