The wings on these birds are something else.

With the light just right they are spectacular, if not they can look just black.

I really like the pose of the crow in flight. The way it looks over, position of the wings.

Thanks, I was walking on a harbor pier and the crow was flying next to the pier and a little lower, so gave a nice perspective.

I agree that that is a really nice shot, Jan. And so well exposed! The other crow shot too.

The egret in that nice light is lovely. Difficult to get close to these birds.

Both are excellent, Patrick, but the second is really nicely framed with the attractive tree and the little lady looking at it.

Thanks, I use fallen branches of the Ash trees in our street(lots of wind lately and I think they have 'essentaksterfte' ) to make different settings in the garden.
