What's the weather like today?

Very nice here, but a severe thunderstorm about 30 miles southeast of us. Near Sherman/Denison TX

And two of the East storm. You can really see the updrafts in this storm, and a few downdrafts. Probably some hail in there somewhere. I’m not a weatherman, but I think there is a cold air cap that is making this storm spread instead of building more elevation.
