So how's the weather today where you are?

Over here it's just wet wet wet. Chilly too. And we just had 2 days of winter so called, meaning waking up to a thin layer of snow that disappeared within a few hours.

Yeah, I saw there was a code yellow for the south-east.

There still is, mostly because of the slippery roads.

Yes, finally some open skies, some sun. Here too. Everything is frost covered this morning though, so it's cold. But I'm not complaining. This is good weather.

We had hints of blue sky earlier, but the cloud is now thickening again. At least we have some visibility.

Here in the DC area, it's overcast and very cold. I got up at sunrise to take more frozen bubble pictures and it was too cold for the bubble solution (7 degrees F). This shot is the best I could do (and it isn't a bubble but a cookie cutter dipped in the bubble solution and held up in one hand while I shot with the other. Otherwise the bubbles just froze completely, no individual ice crystals or snowflakes inside them.
