Gravestones are often just square markers but can be works of the sculptors art, they can be small are large and ornate. Cemeteries can be ancient or modern and somewhere in between.

I grew up in West Hartford CT and we used to pass the Mark Twain House in Hartford all the time, sad to say I never stopped in, but I moved away in 10th grade so wasn't really concerned with that stuff.
