I did a bit of tabletop photography for a while for the games at POTN, but haven't shot anything new in I don't know how many years. And now I am shooting new stuff! The WET challenge and now also Macro Mondays. Experimenting, playing and having fun with it. I have to relearn working with flash!

Anyway, a prelude to a pic for this week's WET challenge: an onion. I was testing the amount of fill flash I needed. Not a stellar shot, but nice to be playing again.

It was a glorious day today: sunshine, clear sky and 18ºC so I went to Waterland to shoot birds. It was wonderful, on my bicycle, no coat needed, just in t-shirt with long sleeves. I shot a long sequence of a couple of Black-tailed godwits mating, but I will look at those tomorrow. So I picked this as photo of the day.
