I had an appointment in town this morning and as it was close to a lovely park I went there and thought of this thread ( @Stiga) and took some shots of flowers. I like this one especially. I have others that I will post in the flowers thread.

According to Obsidentify! it is a Crocus vernus, or Spring Crocus or Giant Crocus. Whatever you want to call it, it was lovely.

Yes, it is a foreshadowing of better things to come - but you are well ahead of Central Scotland where we only have snowdrops and the daffodils only have buds
