Tried a pre-capture today even though it is very overcast and raining. it would have been ok but I was only shooting at 1/1000 should have been at least 1/2000 or 1/2500 but the light wasn't there.
Ended up with motion blur that I couldn't correct

Nailed the focus on the bird feeder but at 1/1000 the bird was moving too fast to catch
