Nice photo and angle on the bird, but was wondering about its leg... Is this a juvenile and does the leg. foot/ toe still need to develop or is it some deformation?

I just found out that it's a juvenile, and it most likely lost both of its feet to fishing line. Fishermen are constantly reminded with signs to not leave their fishing line laying around because this is a common result of it. It's just sad. If more fishermen cared about birds as much as they do fish.

Sad to see the injured birds, especially since it's caused by human neglect.
