We had a regular Hedgehog in our garden last year. They are nocturnal, but once it emerged before the light had quite gone and I managed to take this snap. I had to use a high ISO and a wide aperture, so there's no depth of field. Topaz Denoise helped a lot.
On 2nd February 2016, after a quite vicious storm that had occurred, the sky was blessed with these rare beauties.
A spectacular sight that only ever happened once...
On the evening of 28th August 2011, something strange and spectacular happened... and was talked about on Facebook for a short while.
Haven't seen anything like this again since... :(
