Some photos of a stormy sky, even on the balcony there was wind so there have been some vibrations while photographing from the tripod.

A moss is not just for Christmas

I couldn't decide if this belonged here or in the creative corner. Moss fruiting body with water droplet. This one was my e-Christmas card.

    Wild Animals

We had a regular Hedgehog in our garden last year. They are nocturnal, but once it emerged before the light had quite gone and I managed to take this snap. I had to use a high ISO and a wide aperture, so there's no depth of field. Topaz Denoise helped a lot.

    Nacreous/Mother-of-pearl clouds

On 2nd February 2016, after a quite vicious storm that had occurred, the sky was blessed with these rare beauties. A spectacular sight that only ever happened once...

When the sky was on fire

On the evening of 28th August 2011, something strange and spectacular happened... and was talked about on Facebook for a short while. Haven't seen anything like this again since... :(
