Yeah, I had a good day but warm air is a real problem and the longer our lenses, the more the images are affected by it. That’s why it’s best to shoot birds before the sun had a chance to warm up the air, i.e. very early in the morning. I arrived in Waterland around 15.45 and it was a real problem.You've had a successful day! It seems as my gear gets better/bigger I suffer more and more from heat haze/atmospheric distortions etc. I guess some of the problems I attributed to gear earlier was also the air quality between sensor and subject![]()
