Great shots. I can never get near enough to them with my 'little' 100-400mm.

Thanks, I had to crop these considerably and only a few shots were reasonable, had to content with an enormous amount of heat haze.

You do use a crop camera I think? 1.6x400 is not so much different from my 2x400, it may be a big 400 but still 400.
