Thanks Reina, unfortunately not that I could see, he's just over the brow of a slight rise there and disappeared out of sight without lifting his head again

It's a lovely pattern. Unfortunately it fades somewhat as they get older. Here's an adult. He was big enough to sit astride, though I wouldn't be so cruel. Unfirtunately I didn't have a fast enough shutter speed, so the front leg is blurred.

It signifies movement. That's an accomplishment with these animals.
