I put Jason in first place because I thought his bokeh was the most attractive of all.
I liked Martin's bokeh too. As I understand it, bokeh isn't necessarily an all blurred out background. It's the quality of the out of focus parts of an image. And I liked how Martin's background faded out.
I also liked Rosalie's bokeh. Rather busy but nice.
I thought Jeff's image was wonderful but it's more of a reflection of the background and as such I didn't think it fit the theme all too well. But a really nicely executed image. It looks great.
Jan's image didn't really work for me. Now if there had been a bird on what looks like a bit of wood, then things would have been different but there wasn't, so I didn't vote for it.
Rob's contribution, although not competing, is a good one too. Had it competed I'm sure it would have received votes.
