Those are my feelings too. I don't think a mk iii will give you substantially more than the mk ii gives you. I'vesaid it before, but I shot warblers in flight with the R6II where I never managed to do that before and it wasn't for lack of trying. It's a testament to how good the AF on the R6ii is. I can't see the mk ii improving on that. Not significantly anyway. Maybe they will add more video features, and yeah, that flippy screen you mentioned.My feeling at this time is that moving from the R6ii to R6iii it could be like trading in a 2 year old car on the new model. Even if I decide against the R5ii is it worth the upgrade to the R6iii?
I still haven't put up my R6ii for sale. It's such a great camera that I find it hard to part with.
