Most of these were taken with a Meade 16" SCT with a FL of 4,060mm at the Seagrave Observatory in Rhode Island where I used to be a trustee but am still a member and able to use all their scopes and my own cameras, most were shot with a ZWO ASI174 monochrome camera at 100 fps and then stacked in Autostakkert.

They will track the stars for hours, very fun to use. We have a 16" and 12" and 8" at home I have an 8" several refractors and the new Seestar Smart scopes
This one is affordable. And easy to carry. That is, the Seestar Smart S50 is. I just looked at short promo clip for it. No camera to attach, it does it all by itself. That is smart.
My Canon 1.4 ext. was waiting for me when I got off work tonight, so I knocked the dust off the tripod tried it out on the only thing that was out ... the moon.
