This relief by Bernini, is located at St. Peter's Square in Vatican City. It is called West Ponente (West Wind) and is also known as Respiro di Dio (the breath of God). About three feet long, the relief has a simple face meant to resemble an angel. Bernini created a powerful gust of air coming from the mouth and sent it outward, away from the Vatican. Featured in the book and movie by Dan Brown, Angels and Demons.
