Quite by accident. I was looking for the other site of the same name on a new device, and stumbled over this one. Had a quick squiz, the automotive section looked like it was ticking along nicely, possibly a bit more active than the other site, so I registered.
Originally from POTN, that was the longest I'd been a member of any forum, we'll see what happens here 😝😝

We're happy to have you, Markus.

I remember bicycle images from you, cars too.

I don't think we have a bicycle thread yet, but you're most welcome to start one.

I might do that, it's actually been quite a while since I got out on the bike. Busy with a few home reno's, travelled to NZ over Xmas/New year to spend time with family, off to China in a couple of weeks to spend time with the Wife's family, so it might be a couple of months before I get around to it.

Best thing you've done with this site is to automatically resize images to suit. The previous one -and another site I frequent a bit, require to only upload 1600 pixel wide images. That, is painful, really painful and frustrating as it requires one to go through and do a special edit/resize for every single photo you want to post. And they're useless for anything else as I always save to 1920 or 2048 for the likes of Flickr or many other sites.
That's a great move for certain.

Life does get in the way sometimes!

Thanks! That upload limit was the first thing I decided to do differently. It was a nuisance. I want everybody here to upload images without having to think about it. Also, you can upload or embed 10 images in a post.
