The Official Gear List Thread

Since we don't have a gear database on Focus on Photography and only a limited space to put gear in our profiles, I thought it a good idea to recreate a thread for it. The idea is to post your gear in it and edit your post when it needs updating after buying and/or selling gear. You can then put a link to your post in the thread in your signature or profile, or both. Photographers always want to know what somebody shoots with. Well, they can look it up here.

The easiest way to get a permalink is to hover over the little Share symbol top right of your post:

And copy the link:

Another way is to click on the number in the top right corner of the post...

... and a new tab (or window, depending on how you have set your browser) will open with a direct link to your post in the thread. Then just copy the URL and paste it in your profile and/or signature, so people can look at what you shoot with.

Here is where you fill in the link to your gear list in your profile (just above the "About you" field:

And in your profile under the ABOUT tab that link is rendered like so, where "The Official Gear List" is a link to your post in this thread.

Or/and you can put it in your signature using the "Insert link" option and calling it "My Official Gear List", like so:

It's just an option, mind you. But if you would like to list all your gear, then this is the place to do it.

Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 non VC (ridiculously sharp)
Tamron 55-200mm f/4.0-5.6 (surprisingly good optics and it was a great starter lens. It fell to pieces a few years ago...)

Fuji EBC Fujinon-T 135mm f/3.5 MF (near mint condition, lovely lens, great colours)
Meyer Lydith 30mm f/3.5 MF (a great focal length for the street, but too much wear on the glass)
Pallas 28mm f/2.8 (like new for 22.50 euro. Not impressed by IQ though...)

Lowepro Flipside 300 (Great light weight bag. Carried my 1D bodies + 400mm f/5.6 mounted and there was room for extenders, an extra lens, battery, cards. Love it.) Still works for my R6II and RF 100-500mm.
