Yes, and it was warm too. The chocolate was just beginning to melt.

I assume food eaten in snackbars or on the street, from stalls etc. are welcome in this thread too? Like here in Amsterdam, French fries from a "frietkraam" or as they say in Amsterdam: "patatkraam".

And yes, we eat them with mayonnaise.

This one is really funny. One of the signs says: Dutch bitterballs. As if a non-Dutch person would know what a "bitterball" is!

The second morning in Amsterdam at breakfast - I ordered an

Asparagus omelet

and tea. The tea came in a tea press.
