Birds In Flight - Post Yours!

Bright sunshine and I was in a backlighted position. Yes, heavy cropping, using a 100-300 zoom at 300.

The main issue as far as I can see is the extreme cropping with a less than stellar lens. Proximity is the key to detailed photos of birds, that and quality lenses.
Spot in Sid! Yeah Terry, it's either getting (a lot) closer(most important), or better equipment(less important but it helps) and choose your light!!
 
I just saw the other kite in flight in the other thread. I'm running out of words, Sid. This is outstanding.

Thank you John, yes I do! The shots I'm managing are the less dynamic ones, the unpredictable twist and dive ones are the more tricky to catch, lots and lots of missed and misplaced shots for them :lolz:

I'll take your word for it, but the shots you posted seem pretty dynamic to me.
