Excellent shot, Jason. A good looking cormorant. His bill seems to be less pronounced than the bill on "our" cormorants, or am I imagining that?

You caught him in a great pose, Sid!
You're right. It's more parallel-sided and not so deep at the base and tip as our cormorants, so looks thinner. It may be just a fraction shorter too, but I'm not sure about that.
