Birds In Flight - Post Yours!

Here's a short video, phone quality, of the kites at my hide yesterday. A magpie makes the first move which encourages the kites and then a buzzard lands and stands it's ground.

That must look like a bird photographers' idea of heaven!
 
It's been raining all day. I thought maybe I can get a gull shaking himself in flight. That didn't happen. But as I was looking out the window, camera at the ready, suddenly a Grey heron came from my left, flew over my head onto the ridge above me. This is almost uncropped. I can't believe I actually got him in the frame! I had to add quite a bit of light in post and due to the bad light there isn't much colour on the bird. But wow, was he close.
