Well I am old. The Galapagos was a bucket list in 2021. But I was taking grandchildren on trips and the youngest one went with me to Tanzania in 2018 when she was 12. She's now a freshman film major at Stephen F. Austin University. Not so much still photography but still. I take a lot of bird photos but not so many in flight. The plover was accidental, and I tried several times before I got a useable one of the tern.

Maybe, but clearly young of heart.

Birds in flight are very hard to do. I can't do them at all. So, well done I would say!

Re: Young at heart
I once took a test which was supposed to be an indicator of whether I would do well in grad school. I was taking a class at the time in testing (how to write tests - how to evaluate tests) and my score was above the range given for who would do well. The professor looked at me (I was about 38 at the time) and said "That score isn't predictive. It just means that you have been around" ::)
