Looks very high—I'm guessing at least a mile up from the haze?—and excellent resolution considering. I assume you cropped somewhat, but may I ask what focal length you used?

I think this aircraft was probably at about 35,000 feet or so. Camera was Canon 5DS-R with Canon EF 600mm f/4 L IS USM II with Canon EF 2X Teleconverter, so 1200mm focal length.

a mile high is only 5280 feet in altitude. most planes like this fly from 20000-35000 so closer to 4 to 7 miles...
