Our white winged crow is still around..........

Grey heron take off, usually they are to far away(very different to the city birds) but this one waited until I was in range.

Magpie with nest material. I took this yesterday. Bad bad light and rain. Shot from home.

Shot this Cormorant 5 minutes later. Same bad conditions except he was in a better place and you can't see the rain.

Thank goodness for the magic window, nice shot! Your magpies are a little earlier than ours, I haven't seen any nesting going on yet with them only signs so far are from the sparrows around the house.
