Cool series Levina, even though I know they do it's always a surprise when it's seen :thumbsup:
Thanks, Sid. Yeah, we don't see it too often. He was coughing and I had a feeling and sure enough, there it came. I was quite happy with the results as I was shooting with the 2x extender but shots came out fairly decent.
Super set Levina, they have so much character Robins, I always have a smile when I come across them.
Thanks, Mac. I love robins. I used to go the park in November, after the weather had changed and I would go a few times a week, bringing goodies. I would always go to the same location and at first the robin that had taken the spot would be careful, keep his distance. But after a few visits he would be more and more relaxed. And once he came within minimum focus distance of the 300/4L. And that is a very short distance indeed. That is a moment that I will never forget. I was just sitting there, low, on a falling tree trunk in the snow and he came to me. And he went out of focus, so I slowly lowered the gear and looked at him. And he looked back. We had a moment together. It was amazing.

Thanks very much both, they are beautiful indeed and it's a real treat having them here at the moment. :yay:
:LOL::love:

I was thinking that Patrick won't type on his phone but hopefully he knows how to find the Like button. Although picking the right one from the row on a phone is wickedly difficult. On the iPad too. Grrr...

Went out yesterday for a walk on an initially cold and misty morning. Some moody shots rather than bird close-ups, until the sun broke down the fog.

I like moody shots. I so know what those mornings feel like when I go out before the sun is up to shoot birds in the countryside. The coldness, the dampness and the waiting for the light to arrive. The last shot is getting there, in terms of light.

Site is very sluggish all of a sudden. Not on my iPad but on my Mac. No idea why, everything is all right on the site, nothing in the logs. Are you experiencing site lag too, Jan?

I did not notice weird or sluggish behaviour this morning, I'm using PC and webbrowser.
