We have a swath of mechanics in the building, working in my apartment and the two floors + ground floor beneath simultaneously as they are replacing the flue gas’ exhaust pipes, something or other. Huge job. Will take two days to complete, then they move to the folks next door.

It's not often the Oosterschelde is this tranquil.

Just remember this is only a few days, dead by CO poisoning is permanent.....
 
Oh, things are looking up as I've just been told that they can finish up in my apartment today. They won't need to come back tomorrow! So, only 2.5 hours to go!

It was even better. They left less than an hour later since my previous post! I have just been enjoying the peace and quiet...
