Trying to get rid of ticks

I had an appointment close to Park Frankendael in Amsterdam, the park where we have breeding white storks every year. And sure enough, a couple was on the nest. They don't actually do much up there. Just sit there. I hoped they would mate. Or fly off, but they didn't. All they would sometime do is bill clattering to reaffirm their bond. Just one shot of them bill-clattering. And I don't know where the dirty one had been, but he was really dirty!
