Different species, but here's a Monk Parakeet tucking into some dates.

Hi Levina,
The first photo of the little Egret is probably 200 mtrs. from the Elizabethan Bridge as shown in the (Bridges Post Yours Forum). This is the first time I'd seen a little Egrets outside the Looe colony. The second photo is when he was approaching me down stream. These pictures were taken in 2015 and at the time I'd just bought the Tamron 150-600mm lens earlier that year and was getting more into bird photography. It was December of 2015 that I leapt at a sale on the Canon 7D mkII and completed my setup. :)

And there he is! These are nice, Mac. Especially the second shot is excellent. See, I knew there had to be birds there! :D

Hi Levina, Thank You. I think it was the 70 - 300mm that sparked the interest in bird photos. Then you just want that little more reach :LOL: and before you know it you've got a 150-600 in your hands ;haha;
