Sid, are you by any chance using the "Attach files" button to upload your images? I ask because I notice that the lens and ISO is missing from the EXIF below your images. There is a bug in the latest forum software that strips the metadata altogether or partially when you use the Attach files button. As long as this bug is present it's better to drag and drop your files into the editor or use the Insert Image button (img icon next to the smileys icon). And yes, the other forum has the same problem.

Interesting shot. Do the two species fight? Or just ignore each other mostly?

Thanks. There's no fighting between the species though the kites will mob any of the other birds that take off to try and make them drop anything they may have

The metadata will still go missing on occasion, but with the drag&drop or the Insert image it's rare. It's an annoying bug.

I believe it was particularly bad in Germany. A carnage. Over 300,000 blackbirds died. I read that in some cities the bird was near gone. It spread, came here too. But I don't think it was as bad as it had been in Germany.

Same here. I think some parts of the country that border on Germany were affected most, the eastern parts, south-east?
