The Canon R6 mark III probably not announced before March!

Much has been speculated about a coming Canon R6 mark III and its announcement was expected ahead of CP+ which takes place in late February. However, Canon Rumors now states that they have been told "not to expect an announcement until March at the earliest."

Seems odd. CP+ is a major event. Why delay the announcement till after? Makes little sense to me.

I think Canon did that before, announcing something after the CP+. So maybe not that unusual?

Yeah? Could be. It still seems a bit odd... Unless they think that their announcement stands out more when nothing else is going on?
