i think i saw others being backlit like this as they were walking and then the boy just stopped there. best opportunity and the youth and the artist being a little juxtaposed (age wise) hit me.

A blind squirrel? I doubt it. You're a good photographer.
 
When they remodelled the museum (it took 10, 12 years!) they wanted to do away with the passage. But the citizenry protested loud and long as the passage is a shortcut from the centre to the south of the city. The city caved, I'm happy to say.
I'm glad as well because it makes the museum more interesting to visit. Such an interesting feature.

Indeed. They argued it was too dangerous to keep it as the entrances to the museum are in the passage too and with all the bicycles passing through they feared accidents. I don't know if that ever happened though.
