Macro Mondays - week #2 - theme: Fruit

I am not interested in that, Jan. I like challenges where other people participate too. For me it's having fun with something together. So maybe I should just call it quits.

No reason to quit and it was not meant as a serious suggestion, which I hoped the winking emoji would express, which it apparently did not. And it was definitely not intended to end this initative, just as an introduction (with a wink) of me going to explain why I did not yet participate in this one.

It’s all good, Jan. We’ll see if the idea of Macro Mondays catches on. But you most certainly don’t have to explain why you don’t participate in this or any other challenge or game. There is absolutely no obligation whatsoever to do so.

A tomato alien ready to attack us?

LOL You would think so, wouldn’t you! This was harder than I thought it would be. At macro level both the banana and tomato become kinda unrecognisable! It does work with a slice of orange or lemon though. I saw pics of that and they looked really good.

Of course I also have zero experience with true macro. Seeing the magnification in the viewfinder now, it turns out you have to really REALLY shoot something from up close and that’s not at all easy to do. And with the fruit, yeah, it kinda does turn alien.
