Ducks - Show Us Yours!

Hi Fin, Thank You. Where these ducks gather is great for light reflections in the water, the downside is your facing into the Sun most of the daylight hours. Best getting normal shots in cloudy weather.

Ah, yeah, that's not good, unless you're after strongly backlit shots, but from what I understand that's usually not a good idea for birds?

It was early in the morning but the light was already too harsh so I was actually on my way home when I saw this little family and decided to try a few shots. But I really struggled with exposure. And looking at the files at home, WB was off as everything was blueish while at the same time the water had lost most of its colour, except where it rippled and hit the ducks. So yeah, not an easy file.

It's funny, up until a couple of years ago, I hardly ever saw one and now they seem to be everywhere. I even saw one in the park last week. That was a first.
