This was the first time I'd noticed the intricate feather detail on the female, the stacked wing and colours. He's a lucky Drake that's for sure. April spring light not too harsh/intense my favourite time of year spring.

Lovely, especially the colours in the water.
The water looks extraordinary. Almost like a type of glass. Very nice indeed.

Hi Fin, Thank You. Where these ducks gather is great for light reflections in the water, the downside is your facing into the Sun most of the daylight hours. Best getting normal shots in cloudy weather.
