Crane Fly and Lacewing. Lacewings are a thorn in my side, I have never gotten a decent photo of one. They refuse to sit still until I can approach for a close up. Just posting this horrible photo as punishment to myself. :} Crane Flies are emerging now, a sure sign of spring. Soon you won't be able to walk through a field without hundreds flying up out of the grass. While they somewhat resemble giant mosquitoes, they have no mouth parts and live just long enough to breed.
