Bird Portraits - Post Yours!

Are these birds territorial?
I have seen them chase off other birds from time to time and according to the experts, they can be "quite territorial." This is a copy/paste from www.bird.bot

"Reddish Egrets are often solitary birds outside of the breeding season, and are quite territorial, frequently exhibiting aggressive behavior towards other birds encroaching on their fishing spots.

Beautiful shots, Kirk.
Thanks, Levina! I would really like to capture them early in the morning, but my schedule and the traffic puts me there around 10 AM. I think I will buy one of those truck bed tents and camp there overnight, to ensure some early morning shots.

Kirk, the shots of this bird I have seen of you already have a morning feel about them in that it's obvious they weren't taken at high noon, say. But yes I agree, that early morning light is really beautiful. I don't know what "truck bed tents" are but it sounds like a plan! :D
