A great blue heron taken yesterday morning at Lake Myakka.

Showing his chestnut bits here to full advantage! Our Grey Heron lacks those, but is very similar otherwise.

Reed warbler. Very early in the morning. The sun was just peeking over the horizon but this location was still mostly in the shade. He really posed for me that morning.

One I never got around to editing, it's of a great blue heron with a good-sized catfish in its throat in the morning light @ Lake Myakka.
