Wondering why above doesn't give the lens name in the EXIF for this one (the Canon EF 300mm f/4 L IS USM). I've noticed it doesn't pick up my Sigma 150-600 either. I wonder if it's the lens or the camera not handing off the info in a correct format for this site. It's all there in my EXIF viewer on my PC.

There is a bug in the latest version of the XenForo software. Particularly when you use the Attach Files button in the lower left corner of the editor window. It will either strip the entire EXIF or leave out the lens and ISO.

The best way is to use the Insert Image icon in the editor, this one:

Drop your image or click on it and browse to your image on your computer/device.
This method too will sometimes strip the EXIF but it's rare.

There is a new software update planned for early March. Hopefully this bug will then be fixed.
