Thanks for furthering information on these sites, @Ltdave .

You've filled in some I didn't know about the sports complex,
and I wasn't aware of the Grand Trunk buildings having been razed.

Both of the sites were very interesting to me, while I found the Grand Trunk site
more so due to age and history.

It can be difficult, but the idea is to go crosseyed until you can start to make out the division in the middle.
You then process those images in an up/down orientation and right/left until your vision sees a single image.
It'll come down to a single image with some fodder to the left or right of your vision.

I know it doesn't set well with everyone, just as the Cyan/Blue 3-D images don't reach me.
But if you can lock on it, it's exceptionally realistic.

I've also done this only with completely static subjects.
If there's any motion of the subject, it's very difficult to render to a 3-D image,
as each frame has different placement of the subject matter, which the mind's eye
typically can not reconcile.

My technique is to take a tripod-mounted still for the left eye, move the tripod to the right
by 3 inches, recenter the camera to the same view, take another picture.
Process one of those pictures in a twice-wide canvas, add some black between them,
bring in the other, then switch sides.

Yes, it takes some trial-and-error to get it done, but it's an excellent effect when it
comes together.
