Snowbirds by Boat and Car

Snowbirds by Boat and Car

Snowbirds are people who go south in the winter for warmer weather.

After we retired, we sailed south in our boat down the ICW (Intercoastal Waterway) starting October 2000, and we would return in the spring. When we ran aground in the middle of the channel in the spring of 2004, Bob thought it was too stressful to go on our boat anymore, so we started driving south and staying in Space Available condos which could be rented by military retirees
