First time I've been stared at by a moth! Cracking shot that.

That third moth has pretty wings. They look like they're made of that thin, crackling paper.

Did you shoot these in the wild?

Thanks, all in my garden, last 2 with a light at dark.
 
Your garden? I thought maybe you had taken at least some in a botanical garden.
Never been to one of them. There are more moths than you'd think, try it with a daylight lamp and a white sheet, even works on a balcony(if there's enough green in the neighbourhood).

I honestly had no idea. I see one of those brown "huis-tuin en keuken" (plain, run of the mill) variant moths sometimes, but that's it.
